LampLite

LampLite is a new solid state lighting unit using high reliability, high brightness light emitting diodes (LED's).

Utilising innovative ‘orthogonal light diffusion’ technology, LampLite creates vibrant decorative illumination.

Unlike most LED light sources there is no sharp pin point light source focused on a small area - invisible when viewed from the sides. Many applications for lighting, especially decorative, require the illumination to be seen from a wide area which is not often achieved in current LED technologies.

• Better safety through the use of low energy, 350mA constant current allows LampLite to be deployed in situations where mains voltage would be considered a hazard.
  
• Environmentally friendly, typical power consumption is under 3 watts per metre, compared to 80 watts per metre for white incandescent lamps and 120 watts for coloured.
  
• Very low running costs achieved from the low maintenance and the low power requirements.
